Solution

We have the following equation given:

4x -1 = 3y +5

We can rewrite the expression on this way:

3y = 4x -1-5

3y = 4x -6

Then we can divide both sides of the equation by 3 and we got:

y = 4/3x -2

Then the slope would be:

m= 4/3
