We have to use the change-of-base formula of logarithms to simply write this log.

The logarithm to convert is:

\log _410

The change of base formula (using natural logarithms) is:

\log _ab=(\ln b)/(\ln a)

Matching this with the logarithm, we can write it as:

\log _410=(\ln 10)/(\ln 4)
