(y-y1)/(y2-y1) =(x-x1)/(x2-x1). So draw a graph and place the points A and B on the Graph, then put the numbers in the formula. A(-8=x1, 3= y1), B(-4=x2,6=y2). You will get the formula and consequently the slope.
