The height of trapezoid is h = 7 m.

The area of trapezoid is A = 35 m^2.

The formula for the area of trapezoid is,

A=(a+b)/(2)\cdot h

Here, a and b are length of bases of trapezoid.

Substitute the values in the formula to obtain the sum of bases of trapezoid.

\begin{gathered} 35=(a+b)/(2)\cdot7 \\ (a+b)/(2)=(35)/(7) \\ a+b=5\cdot2 \\ =10 \end{gathered}

So sum of bases of trapezoid is equal to 10 meters.
