Answer:

1.
8x+5
2.
2x^2-9

Explanation:

Given the following questions:

(2x^2+5x-2)+(-2x^2+3x+7)

(2x^2+5x-2)-(5x+7)

In order to find the answer to these questions we have to group the terms with the same variables and then combine like terms. Of course, applying the distributive property if needing to do so.

Number one:

(2x^2+5x-2)+(-2x^2+3x+7)

(2x^2+5x-2)+(-2x^2+3x+7)=2x^2+5x-2-2x^2+3x+7

2x^2+5x-2-2x^2+3x+7

2x^2-2x^2+5x+3x-2+7

2x^2-2x^2=0

5x+3x-2+7

-2+7=5

5x+3x+5

5x+3x=8x

8x+5

Number two:

(2x^2+5x-2)-(5x+7)

(2x^2+5x-2)-(5x+7)=2x^2+5x-2-\left(5x+7\right)

2x^2+5x-2-\left(5x+7\right)

2x^2+5x-2-5x-7

2x^2+5x-5x-2-7

5x-5x=0

2x^2-2-7

-2-7=-9

2x^2-9

Hope this helps.
