We know that the linear model:


c=2.20+2m

To determine the cost for a given mileage we just need to plug the later in the equation; in this case we know that m=16, then we have:


\begin{gathered} c=2.20+2(16) \\ c=2.20+32 \\ c=34.20 \end{gathered}

Therefore, it cost $34.20 to travel sixteen miles.
