Explanation

The formula for density is given as;

\text{density}=\text{ }(mass)/(volume)

Given the height as 26ft, width as 40ft and length as 36ft we can get the volume of the water that will fill the aquarium to be.

\text{Volume = 40 x 26 x 36=37440 cubic ft}

Since one gallon of water is approximately 0.134 cubic feet. Therefore, 37440 cubic feet becomes;

(37440)/(0.314)=279402.9851

The mass becomes the weight;

\begin{gathered} \text{weight}=\text{ density x volume} \\ \text{weight}=\text{ 8.33 x279402.9851} \\ \text{weight}=\text{ 2327426.9Ibs} \end{gathered}
