y = mx + b....... (1)

Here, m is the slope and b is the y intercept.

The given equation is,


y+3>-(3)/(2)(x+1)
\begin{gathered} y>-(3)/(2)x-(3)/(2)-3 \\ y>-(3)/(2)x-(3-6)/(2) \\ y>-(3)/(2)x+1 \end{gathered}

So, equating the coefficients with the general equation, (1), we have,

slope, m =-3/2

y intercept b=1
