1) Examining the spinner and each of those numbers we can write the following for the factors of 35

The whole numbers that are factors of 35:

1,5,7 and 35

As in the spinner, we have 1, 5, and 7 we need to find out the probability of those three numbers.

2) Since there are 8 possibilities altoghether to picking one number.

We can write the number 8 as the bottom number.


P=\frac{\text{favorable outcomes}}{\text{total outcomes}}=(3)/(8)

3) So the probability of picking one factor of 35 is 3/8
