we have the equation

x^2+1=2x-3

Rewrite the given equation

\begin{gathered} x^2+1-2x+3=0 \\ x^2-2x+4=0 \end{gathered}

where

a=1

b=-2

c=4

substitute in the formula

x=(-(-2)\pm√(-2^2-4(1)(4)))/(2(1))

The answer is the option A
