Diego says the sum of half of the first number and double the second number is 14.

Let the first number be x an and the second number be y.

According to Diego,

\begin{gathered} (x)/(2)+2y=14 \\ x+4y=28 \end{gathered}

So, Diego's two numbers must satisfy the equation

x+4y=28

There are many possibilities for Diego's two numbers. All the numbers on the line will be Diego's two numbers.

Two such number can be 0 and 7. It is seen from the graph.

Also 12 and 4 is another such pair.
