we will use the trigonometric ratio of tangent


\tan (\alpha)=(O)/(A)

where alpha is the angle , O the opposite side from the triangle and A the adjacent side

now replacing


\tan (x)=(5)/(9)

and solve for x


\begin{gathered} x=\tan ^(-1)((5)/(9)) \\ x\approx29 \end{gathered}

the measure of the angle x is 29°
