If a company buys a product at a wholesale value of $ 1.75 and marks the price up by 125 % , how much do they sell each item for?

To work this out, you would do 1.75 x 1.25 as 1.25 = 125%

1.75 x 1.25 = 2.1875

Rounding to 2 decimal places, the company sells each item for $2.19
