Determining the Rate of Change of a Line on a Graph

A graph has time (years) on the x-axis and height (inches) on the y-axis. A line goes through points (2, 5) and (4, 10).

Answer: I believe the answer is 2.5 inches per year

Explanation: After 2 years the height went up by 5, so divide 5 by the number of years (2) and you get 2.5, so that would probably be the rate of change.

Hope this helps!
