I'm trying to find this answer but I just can't get it right.

6 : 1 = 12 : ?

For instance,
1) Take the first number from the first ratio which is 6,
2) then you look at the second ratio and look at the first number which is 12
3) What multiples divide 12/6 (second ratio first number divided by first ratio first number) and you get 2.
2 is the answer.

12:2 or 72:1 should be the answer but i’m not sure
