The length of hypotenuse is H = 13 cm.

The length of leg is a = 5 cm.

The relation between sides of right triangle is,

H^2=a^2+b^2

Substitute the values of H and a and simplify to obtain the value of b.

\begin{gathered} (13)^2=(5)^2+b^2^{} \\ b^2=169-25 \\ b=\sqrt[]{144} \\ =12 \end{gathered}

So measure of other leg is 12 cm.
