Find the values of A and B in Ax + By = 80 such that the equation is perpendicular to 14x + 35y = 70 and has the same y-intercept.

Two perpendicular lines have an opposite slope.

Then you have the next equation of the line:


14x+35y=70

You can find the slope and the y-intercept by turning this to a form slope-y-intercept (y=mx+b) by clearing the varible y:
