In order to find the size of the base, count the number of little units of the squared grid that cover the base. that gives you a total of "6"units.

For the height you do the same, but move vertically to cover the full height of the image. In such case you count 5 little squares, and the height is then "5"

Now for the area you use the formula for Area of a parallelogram:

base x height = 6 x 5 = 30 square units.

So please select the:

height 5 units, base 6 units, area 30 square units
