f\mleft(x\mright)=-x^2+x-7

To find f(1):

Put x=1, we get


\begin{gathered} f(1)=-(1)^2+1-7 \\ =-1+1-7 \\ =-7 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of f(1) is -7.
