The kinetic energy is the energy that is possessed by an moving object. And a moving object always possess the momentum.

That is, if an object has kinetic energy then it will jave momentum. And if an object has momentum then it will have kinetic energy.

Thus both kinetic energy and momentum describes a moving object.

Therefore the given statement is true.
