7 < -5x + 2 ≤ 32​

Subtracting 2 each term:

7 - 2 < -5x + 2 - 2 ≤ 32 - 2​

5 < -5x ≤ 30

Dividing by -5 each term (Note that dividing by a negative number changes the symbols)

5/(-5) > -5x/(-5) ≥ 30/(-5)

-1 > x ≥ -6
