the equation of the line is

y = -3x + 6

slope is m = -3

as we know that for parallel lines, the slope is always equal.

so the slope of the new line is also m = -3

it is also passing through (-4,9)

so the equation of the line i s

y-9=m(x-(-4))

m= -3

y-9=-3(x+4)_{}

\begin{gathered} y-9=-3x-12 \\ y=-3x-12+9 \\ y=-3x-3 \end{gathered}

so the answer is y = -3x - 3
