An endothermic reaction is a type of reaction in which we need an input of energy in order for the reaction to properly occur, we will usually see this type of reaction represented by the positive sign, whereas exothermic reactions are the opposite, they release energy as product of the reaction. In this question, since the sign of the energy is positive, we have an Endothermic reaction
