The number of cards is 3. the number of orders in which the cards can be lined up is 3!

3! = 3 * 2 * 1 = 6

6 different orders

Assuming the cards are A, B and C. The orders are ABC, ACB, BCA, CBA, CAB, BAC. That is 6 different orders rent orders
