we have the equation

x^2+19x=-90

step 1

Rewrite in standard form

x^2+19x+90=0

step 2

we have

a=1

b=19

c=90

substitute in the formula

x=(-19\pm√(19^2-4(1)(90)))/(2(1))
x=(-19\pm1)/(2)

The values of x are

x=-9 and x=-10
