The area of sector formula is :

A=(1)/(2)r^2\theta

where r = radius

θ = central angle in radians

From the problem, we have :

r = 7 inches

θ = 4π/15

Using the formula above :

\begin{gathered} A=(1)/(2)(7)^2*(4\pi)/(15) \\ A=(98\pi)/(15) \end{gathered}

ANSWER :

The area of the sector is 98π
