Why animals do not have a cell wall?

The cell wall is a structure found only in plant cells. This cell wall is made of cellulose (a polymer of glucose), and although animal cells can metabolize glucose, they cannot produce cellulose. Therefore, animal cells do not have the biological tools to produce a cell wall.
