The Solution.

By sum of angles in a straight line, we get

2x+3+x-6=180
\begin{gathered} 2x+x-6+3=180 \\ 3x-3=180 \\ 3x=180+3 \\ 3x=183 \\ \text{Dividing both sides by 3, we get} \\ x=(183)/(3)=61 \end{gathered}

The correct answer is x = 61
