let the side is 'a'

then

a + a +a = 24

3a = 24

a = 24/3

a = 8 ft

now we convert feet into inches

we know that 1 ft = 12 inches

so in 8 ft

8 x 12 = 96 inches.

so the side of the triangle is 96 inches.
