(x+2)(x-7)=0


\begin{gathered} \mleft(x+2\mright)\mleft(x-7\mright)=0 \\ \text{either (x+2)=0 or (x-7)=0} \\ \text{if (x+2)=0} \\ \text{then, x+2=0} \\ x=-2 \\ \text{if (x-7)=0} \\ \text{then x-7=0} \\ x=7 \end{gathered}

Thus, the x have two values that are x =-2, 7
