Solve the inequality for x. -13 > 3x-7

Solution

We have the following inequality:

x -12 > 3x-7

We can subtract x in both sides and we got:

-12 > 2x -7

Then we can add 7 in both sides and we got:

-5 > 2x

And we can divide both sides by -2 and we got:

x < -5/2
