in this problem we have that

m<5 and m<3 are alternate interior angles

that means

m<5=m<3

substitute teh given values

3x-10=2x+5

solve for x

3x-2x=5+10

x=15

Find the measure of angle 3

m<3=2(15)+5

m<3=35 degrees
