A sequence of transformation is when two or more transformations are combined to form a new transformation.

For example, we have a two-step sequence when we rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise and then translate 5 units to the left. Both are transformations that produce an output image, that becames the input of the second transformation, and so on (if the sequence has more steps).
