1) From that chart, we can locate at least two points: (1, 5) and (2,10). So we can find the slope through the slope formula with these points:


m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(10-5)/(2-1)=5

2) As the line passes through the origin, we can state that the linear coefficient is equal to 0.

So we can write the following rule for this equation, considering that instead of x, and y we're going to use m and b

f(x) = 5x Instead of it we'll write:

b =5m

3) Hence, the answer is b=5m
