12. Is it possible for an animal in an ecosystem to be considered as both a predator AND as prey? Explainyour answer and include an example to support your answer.

When we are talking of predators we have to refer to food chains, and these can be very complex, here is where we can find organisms that act as both, predator and pray at the same time. They receive the name of small predators, those that only act as predators and are not consumed by any other organism, are called apex predators. One good example of a small predator we can find it, with certain snakes, consume small animals like little rodents, and in turn, the snake is hunted by birds of prey like eagles.
