A classroom board is 36 inches wide and 24 inches tall. Cheryl is putting ribbon along the outside edge of the board. How many inches of ribbon will she need?

The total inches of ribbon Cheryl needs is equal to the perieter of the classroom board.

As a classroom board is rectangular you get the perimeter whit th next formula:


P=2W+2T

Then, for the given board:
