The internal angles of an equilateral triangle are 60°.

If we rotate this triangle from its center by any angle multiple of 60°, the vertices will always be located at the same position of other vertices were before.

So the smallest rotation angle that will map the equilateral triangle onto itself is 60°

If we rotate only 30°, the triangle would be like this:
