The volume of a cuboid is given by

So, the volume of a cuboid is basically multiplying out all the sides.

Let us identify the sides of the cuboid,


\begin{gathered} \text{Length(L) }=\text{ 8m} \\ \text{Width (W})\text{ }=\text{ 7m} \\ \text{Height (H) }=\text{ 2m} \\ Therefore,\text{ the Volume of the cuboid is} \\ =\text{ 8m x 7m x 2m }=112m^3 \end{gathered}

If two boxes(cuboids) are stacked on top of each other,

then the volume would be


112m^3\text{ x 2 }=224m^3
