The graph of an inverse function can be found from mirroring the original graph around the line y = x. That means:

The domain of the inverse f⁻¹(x) is the range of f(x), and,

The range of the inverse f⁻¹(x) is the domain of f(x).

So, if a one to one function has a vertical asymptote of x = 7; the inverse will have a horizontal asymptote at y = 7.

The vertical asymptote of the original function is the horizontal asymptote of the inverses function, and viceversa.
