thefunction h(x) = f(x) - 3 or h(x) = x -3

that means h(x) is 3 less than the value of f(x).

so we can say that

h(x) = x -3

h(x) +3 = x

that means h(x) shifts downwards 3 units and y intercept decreases.

the option B is correct.
