Vaccination's main goal is herd immunity. Herd immunity can be achieved if adequate number of individuals got vaccinated. Resistance to vaccination is seen worldwide. Providing a mandate for covid vaccine can lead to more resistance. Such mandate is diminishing rights of individuals to choose on their own. This resistance will hinder in the goal of achieving herd immunity.
