The main difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells is the abscense of organelles in the prokaryotic cells, which have they genetic material in the cytoplasm unlike eukaryotic cells that have it inside the nucleus. Moreover, eukaryotic cells have other organelles such us the endoplasmic reticulum, vacuoles, lysosomes and mitochondria.
