A) Please help, In the town of blueston, there are 6 brown houses for every 8 blue houses. What is the ratio of brown houses to blue houses in blueston?

b) If there are 480 blue houses in blueston, how many brown houses are there?
c) what is the value of the ratio of brown houses to blue houses?

B. 360 brown houses + 480 blues is 840 in total.

x=360 because 8 x 60 = 480 & 60x6=360.

C. 0.43

6:8 is simplified to 3:4.

Brown is 3/7 = 0.43

Blue is 4/7 = 0.57

(3+4=7)
