Solve the inequality


\begin{gathered} 2x+12>26 \\ \text{Subtract 12 from both sides and you'll have} \\ 2x+12-12>26-12 \\ 2x>14 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 2} \\ (2x)/(2)>(14)/(2) \\ x>7 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the solution to the inequality is


x>7
