parallel line has identical slope . Therefore parallel line passing through (0, 1) have the same slope.

\begin{gathered} y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\ 3x+(3)/(4)y=2 \\ (3)/(4)y=2-3x \\ mul\text{ltiply through by }(4)/(3) \\ y=2((4)/(3))-3x((4)/(3)) \\ y=(8)/(3)-4x \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\ m=-4 \\ y-1=-4(x-0) \\ y-1=-4x \\ y=-4x+1 \end{gathered}

The equation is

y = -4x + 1
