Given;


A(n)=3+(n-1)(5)

Required; To find A(11)

Step 2

n= 11, Therefore, substitute 11 for n


\begin{gathered} A(11)=3+(11-1)(5) \\ A(11)=\text{ 3 + 10(5)} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} A(11)=\text{ 3+50} \\ A(11)=53 \end{gathered}

Hence, A(11) = 53
