Take into account that the torque generated by a force F, a distance r of a pivot point is given by:


\vec{\tau}=\vec{r}*\vec{F}

Due to the torque is a cross product, you can notice that if F is parallel to r, as in the given casce for Fe, the torque is zero (because the cross product is zero)
