A jar contains 5 red marbles, 6 green marbles, 12 orange marbles and 3purple marbles.4) What is the probability of drawing a green marble?

5 + 6 + 12 + 3 (the sum of all the marbles) is 26. There are 6 green marbles, so the probability would be 6/26, or 37.5%. Hope this helps! :)

The probability of drawing a green marble would be the ratio between the number of green marbles, and the total number of marbles.


P=(6)/(5+6+12+3)=(6)/(26)=(3)/(13)

Hence, the probability is 3/13.
