For this case we can use this formula:


\text{Change}=\frac{\text{Old}-\text{New}}{\text{Old}}\cdot100

And for this case:

Old = 40

New = 25

Replacing we got:


\text{Change}=(40-25)/(40)\cdot100=37.5
