In the expression, 5x + 3y - 10, what is the coefficient of x and what is the constant term?

The coefficient is the number next to the "x"

In this example the coefficient of "x" is 5.

The constant term is the number that is not follow by the "x" or the "y", in this example this number is -10.

coefficient of "x" = 5

constant term = -10.
